Skog Sykkel is the evolution of my (Isak Leivsson) passion project of frame building. What started out as a project to find a ride that wasn’t (and still isn’t) available in the bike industry, has matured through numerous versions and types of mountainbike frames and components. Limited by time as a side project to a full time engineering job means longer lead times and low volume, but a product novel enough to seem (to me) worth the time to keep it going.
It is imperative for me that Skog remains a project solely aimed at the goal of figuring out how to make well-riding bikes, not a financial endeavor. That means it is important to me that bike customers have interest aligned with that, so that I know the idea and intention of Skog will be valued, and not just the aesthetic or otherwise appeal of the bikes.
